| Bio: | I'm a grad student, born in Canada and raised in the Red States: Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Kentucky, and Texas. My mission in life is to revive (or maybe, create from scratch) progressive politics in America. I decided that I'm always filling my friend's ears with my rants on American culture. So why not blog instead, so my beleaguered friends can read my rantings at their own convenience? You'll find that I take a really clear stand--no big surprise, huh? In fact, I poke fun at plenty of my own allies, as Leftists are unfortunately wont to do. But what I'm hoping to do is start a conversation between people who are concerned about the way our country is going, about the moral poverty of both Left and Right, and the amoral void of consumer culture that lies in between. | ||||||||||
